Fix Your Steam Profile (Most Common)
If you are playing on a brand new account, or have a private profile, servers will flag you.
Set Profile to Public: Go to your Steam Profile -> Edit Profile -> Privacy Settings. Set everything to Public.

Add Friends/Hours: New, "blank" accounts with zero hours in any game look like burner accounts for cheaters.

If you have any programs running in the background close them down. Since EAC may be flagging some software you use.

If none of these go-to solutions work, follow the steps of making a ticket.

Ok so, 117k bans right, 138k players, no way in hell 117k of those were cheating right/doing anything bad max 60-70k next yall only got 2k active plyaers, if i had to guess 10000 different users every day, then only about lemme guess 2-3k of them are in here, then that leaves a small amount that are send tickets, I just need you to understand where everyone is coming from, i get yall live lives, but how can you guys run a successful server to have 100k plus banned and only 2000 online, that mean you probably killed your playerbase becuase of false bans, and also if that means you only have 2000 max players at a time, if i had to guess you guys have stockpiled about 1000-2000 tickets MAX, that should not take 3 months.

i obviosly dont know your tasks to unban and its probably really hard, but if yall cant look at 1000-2000 ban appeals in 3-4 months then I feel as if the players have a right to be frustrated

Hey, moderators don't handle ban appeals, a small team of dedicated individuals handle them. This is why it takes awhile as each case has to be reviewed properly.

As SHCK said, as you have been banned, if you join on a new account, it will be classed as ban evading and you will only be in the same situation...

The best thing you can do, for now, is simply wait for you ban appeal to be reviewd by the team 🙂

Rust is rated 18+ because it has violence, nudity, and pretty intense player interactions, but that doesn’t mean you have to be 18 to play it. There’s no built-in age verification, so you won’t get banned just for being under 18.

As long as you follow the rules like not cheating, teaming or being abusive, your age alone won’t get you banned...

I understand that bans are necessary, but what about cases where someone is innocent? I’ve been waiting 4,5 months already. I’m not banned by Facepunch, I’ve played on some of the biggest servers without any issues, and I even passed script checks on two of the largest ones I have all of it recorded on video.
I’ve been playing this game for over 10 years, since the beta, and I have almost 10,000 hours. The only reason I’m writing this is because I genuinely care about playing on your servers. But waiting this long is honestly starting to change my mind. At the end of the day, I might be just another player to you, so maybe I’ll end up waiting 10 months… 😄

I hear your frustration, i'd be frustrated to. I am sorry i cannot be of more help, i can only simply advise you! Make sure you have everything within your ban appeal, all of you evidence etc, i would also highly suggest not creating multiple tickets as this may result in you being pushed further back in the queue!

My only concern is that you made your discord account/joined our server on the 28th of march... So how could you be waiting 4.5 months?

Why don't the owner invest in a better/faster review system? It sucks that bestrust basically is the only consistent com servers with max group size, (that actually keeps pop through wipe) and i get banned for an unknown reason.
