My Opinion About Threads

#

Threads are great in theory to add them to everything.

#

But they take up lots of space, especially for me who looks at every channel

#

Also a lot of the times you use threads, people will just say that dms are better

#

Mostly because a lot of people who do carrys claim msk carry’s or prequests

#

Which is only one person

#

Per carry request

And having them all be added to single threads is very unhelpful

#

Instead for it to be better then dms (for example) you could make 1 thread where you can contact all of your claims

#

If I claim 2 people for msk, I would rather have them in 1 thread together rather than have to contact them seperately

The whole point of threads is to make Temporary channels for a small group of people and it is simply being misused

@sweet rapids I was brainstorming about this yesterday, creating threads for carriers. For MSK, threads are much better than DMs imo but not sure about other PWO types

Jumping around to different threads is better than jumping around to DMs but both are a hassle

I actually liked public threads better because on desktop client the thread opens alongside the channel

I personally haven’t used the Xbox one yet

But on mobile if you open a thread it stays as a normal channel

And I check every channel and thread so my discord list is always super long
