I'm attempting to join various servers, and after reaching the loading screen and briefly loading into the selection screen, I received an authentication error. Is there a way around this or is it related to my ownership of the game?

Its happening on PC with steam version and I assume with you on Playstation too so it looks like its down everywhere

Im currently trying to re-install the game after deleting it to see if it helps with anything. I will update if it helps, even though it probably won't.

So, I thought I did something wrong or was banned from the servers, but that's not the case because the problem is with Mordhau. Let's stay calm friends, and wait for support, ok?

this seems to be a problem with the Microsoft Playfab backend used by mordhau

#

some outage on their end has brought down trhe ability for all playuers to authenticate to mordhau regardless of platform they are playing on

Yeah it looks like the Playfab issues was fixed so it should be working on all platforms now

let us know if the issue still persists - we would likely need to know the version you are playing on (Xbox, PS, Epic, Steam)

The issue was only appearing when you tried to join any server it would throw authentication failed

if you are unable to find servers that is another issue

I thing you might want to try changing your filter options to see if you can find servers again

try setting your filters like so and see what you get when you refresh server list

I can see a lot of servers with players in them so I don't think there's any major issues preventing servers from being seen in browser at the moment
