I open it in steam. After the newest update it just instantly closes. No verification helped nor deleting files as said in another post. Its unmodded. I only played it once and the next startup it wouldnt open.

if youve done both of them, then I have no idea
we dont fundamentally change aspects of the game with patches, atleast not recently

Deleted all local settings. Already did hard reset hoping it was a bug there

I think there are nvidia files sometimes you can delete but I havent seen much success with them, usually its mods or config files

i deleted the files inside the game location and still the same bug happens. it says its opening for about 1 second in steam then it closes without any prompts or anything. not even task manager is registering it

Ive seen this before with Mordhau and other games too
my first guess is the you have a anti virus that is quarantining one of the files
is it like this?

i even deleted all the directories of it and it still wouldnt open after doing a hard reinstall

@stoic sleet somehow a full hard reset and complete file deletion then uninstall and reinstall fixed it
also moved the file directory to another folder for safety
