Vanilla Friday Wipe server.
Me and my friends are playing a lot of Rust again lately but were all working full time and cant really find the time Monday-Friday to play the game much. So we only really got Friday evening, saturday and sunday for the grind.
Most servers Wipe on Thursday so we cant play on Wipe day + the 2 day of wipe and these are usually the most crucial, action packed and fun days.
Weve been playing 2x because there is a few servers that Wipe saturday or fridays but the Vanilla experience simply feels better. But we simply cannot enjoy any of them cause we could only join 2 days into wipe.
I feel like were not the only group that is experiencing this issue and i think a lot of people with a similar work schedule would also enjoy this server.
Hope someone thinks its a good idea 🙂

Our server pop limits the amount of players dependent on performance. I'm not quite sure what the cap will be but I assume it will be similar to our us and eu main variants which are usually ~700

The pop will be adjusted to ensure performance and the number I provided above is just my guess on what the upper pop limit might be, there is the chance it is lower or higher than that number though

To be fair, such system should be changed anyway no?
It really isn't fair that someone would get banned for forgetting to clear what you mentioned, since the server does all auth for you, once you're in a clan, a reasonable person would assume that kicking someone out would remove them from everything.
Even going on, I heard instances where a team would get banned for "sharing TC" with people they were raiding, in case if they didn't clear the TC
The team-banning on trio is mess most of the time anyway. A lot of players will just get banned instantly for things, that could easily be avoided, if they werejust told they were doing something wrong but from all years of playing the server I haven't heard of a single case where someone got a warning before getting banned. Obviously that's the procedure you guys have, but making something like "warning first for small/unintentional teaming" could be beneficial to everyone. If nothing else, at least give warnings to people roleplaying, one time I was looking at a Hotel from my tower and few people started shooting me and then stopped, few minutes later everyone gets banned. Surely a warning in such situation could prevent that to certain degree and not just outright banning them. Not to talk about false teaming bans that happen sometimes and take a while to resolve when staff doesn't quite believe you... happen to myself but yeah, the teaming bans could definitely be improved, if nothing else just consider adding warnings to small/rp infractions because the ruleset around teaming is very difficult to fully understand. If all that wasn't possible, maybe at least a more advanced rolebook someone on this server, where players would be able to see more in depth cases of what is allowed and what not, such as no shooting anyone when you're with someone that isn't in your clan etc.

Hoppel knows what they're talking about. The team here has seen/caught/banned many, many thousands of cheaters, normally long before EAC has any clue. There's a ton of work that goes into following up on every player concern and it's nothing something any admin takes lightly. Many have spent more time spectating and investigating than most players have played the game. It does suck with scripts though - that's something that are more difficult to completely determine and will often come down to EAC hitting on, sadly part of the game but hopefully with the recent pvp changes there's a bit less motivation for players to cheat themselves and the game with that crap. But hoppel is right that there isn't much of a correlation between VAC banned accounts and active Rust cheaters. People screw up, other situations happen, but having seen a ridiculously amount of cheaters myself, prohibiting VAC ban accounts wouldn't do much at all other than falsely penalizing people who are playing Rust just like anyone else legit.

But you can have any opinion you like - a ridiculous amount of players enjoy the servers every month. A lot of the admins have more than 3K hours solely admining - I myself, not that hours matter one bit, have 13k hours but it doesn't mean much. I will say access behind the scenes though is a huge difference. And yeah, you're right that people cheat in Rust and unfortunately they always will and many will never be caught. It's the same on every single server :/ But the main point of this is that there isn't one easy filter that is going to solve it and specifically with prohibiting VAC banned accounts, there wouldn't be a noticeable difference whatsoever besides falsely banning many normal players.

lol Yes, just perm ban everyone who's ever made a mistake, regardless that it had nothing to do with Rust. Many of the VAC bans that get reported are even like 5 years old... life goes on. The important thing is "Is this player cheating right now?" and a lot of work goes into answering that. It's easy to say "Yeah, just ban them all" but it has nothing to do with the reality of who are the individuals actually cheating and negatively impacting the game. At the time that I was an admin, after personally reviewing thousands of cheaters, it was surprisingly how many different forms they come. I wish there was an easy filter that would fix it all but there doesn't seem to be. The only way to never run into a cheater is probably playing alone or with a small group of friends on a whitelist server. With any public popular server cheaters will periodically join- but that's where active admins come in and good reports.

Rustoria is popular b/c it is perfectly modded and stable. There's no doubt they are good servers. But I know what high level aim looks like. I know it will be mocked but in other games where the k/d is tracked, I have an above 2 k/d. In this game where k/d isn't useful (due to f1 killing regularly), I consistently have a +30% accuracy w/ many kills. That's usually the top 1% of people with over 10 kills. I'm telling you there are often people who shoot better than pros on here. Watch Posty or Tac or anyone else...they don't jumping double people as often as many (too many people) on Rustoria. I'm wondering if there is someone acting as an admin focusing on watching players that has a good sense of what looks sus and what looks legit. It seems there isn't but then again, I understand the fact that the burden of proof is high and perhaps that's how it should be. I will say, I've played a number of different servers and Rustoria does not ban nearly as many as places like rusticated, rustified, etc.

Every other official server is dog shit and full of cheaters , I am truly grateful for rustoria servers putting in so much work to make these amazing servers. On rustoria I run into a cheater once in a blue moon but if I play any other server I run into multiple cheaters in a day which don’t get banned for weeks at a time . Yes maybe toria servers do crash and lag sometimes but it is nothing compared to rustafied or any other server . Tbh idk what your issue with VAC bans are. I've been playing on rustoria for a while and most accounts that me and my group personally thought were cheating were not VAC banned before. Technically "system" doesn't imply automatic. It's just "a way of doing something". It doesn't take 2 weeks to appeal anything in normal cases, usually it's 1-3 days, and often much sooner. Admins are always following up on every appeal as quickly as possible. There are unique situations where an individual is asked to come back after a certain date or period of time, but it's not the norm in any way. I'd assume whatever situation "BigDog" is talking about is unique and that they may not fully understand all aspects of it, so it's likely a misunderstanding.

Hey there Vlad. I did push an update to the heavy scientist recently. However the locked crate/loot crates do need a refresher. However with refreshing the loot you'll still get "Filler" loot for example as it's not possible to just always give the "Best" items per say per loot as it'd be unbalanced and broken. Render distance in SEA main is fucking atrocious, can't even see buildings less than a full grid away from you (legit) and can't even hear gun shots and boom from anywhere near where you should.

Prevent building on roads on 5X trio US, map is huge and really empty after the size increase, fly over green areas of the map and you'll see they're 95% empty while they take 1/3 - 1/2 of total size of the map.

For the RTG servers, could you create an arena for team vs team monument holding/retakes, example being one team on top of rig and another countering, counters can choose to counter with boat/heli, owner decides what tier guns they use. Another example would be launch site, team A takes bradley then team B counters after it explodes.

My point wasn't really so that more people would build elsewhere because they wouldn't be able to build on roads, it's more so that people build on roads a lot just to mess with others, there are soo many trap bases built directly on roads, you drive with cars around really hard etc, it just makes it less rust-like.
It's also the fact I was old that building on roads was enabled because excavator was added so there is more space to build for people on, but like I mentioned, at least 1/2 of the map is always completely empty anyway.

This second part of suggestion is mostly from @fiery sail but it's again about the size of the map; after excavator was added, basically all peninsulas and islands around the mainland were removed which makes it really hard for bigger clans to build their big bases because the land is not that flat at the moment. Again, since vast parts of maps are just completely empty, would it be possible to brings those back to the map? Maybe at least give it a try for one wipe to see how it works because several clans complained about not being able to build larger bases because of that.

Regular Zeus player here. I have 3 questions/suggestions :

1. Is there any planned return of the night ? (even half night) Night leads to nice PVP situations (Oil rigs at night are freaking cool)
2. Why don't we have new maps with surface trains ?
3. On the paper, anti-seal plugin is a good idea, but in practice .... large groups build a tower next to your base, keep firing 100++ rockets into your base, and eventually end up wiping it. It just breaks online raiding. (At least, this is my feeling) You could increase the initial PVs structure gets when placed during a raid so it needs more than just few bullets to get destroyed. That would help a bit against this kind of raid.

With SEA Main’s release, we’ve opened with Rustoria’s normal Main maps size. Unfortunately the server is dropping by 200 pop on the second and third day of wipe. 600 —> 200ish in 2 days. I believe this issue is related to the map size. The bigger map with a small clan scene allows clans to wipe out all smaller competitions without fear of other clans living nearby therefore killing the pop. I feel like decreasing the map size should resolve the issue.

Hi admins, so for the solo duo trio 5x, when getting raided walls and anything you build start with 1hp, so the next rocket always breaks a wall or foundation or high wall, that is freshly placed. This promotes getting raided from the top of a base or a raid base and honestly does not give a chance for the defender. I’ve been raided from on top of someones actual base three times now (neighbors or raid base) so it is nearly impossible to kill them bc they hide. Yesterday a duo raided me from the top of their 6 story base, and I could do nothing but seal over and over again. And somehow kill the other when they pushed out over and over again. I only died to rocket or gl PVP and at the time I was solo. I personally feel like builds shouldn’t start at 1hp while getting raided bc I sealed over and over again and continuously got pummeled from probably over 30 minutes bc they had over 100 rockets. So I’m just trying to say walls and stuff in my opinion shouldn’t be placed at 1hp while getting raided <@&274971100184576010>

They're constantly following up on every single player report. Best thing you can do ever is send in a ticket in-game with "/ticket add (your report)", making sure to be specific, normally narrowing down to the most suspicious individual, while also refraining from calling anything out in chat or voice. Doesn't hurt to use F7 for the player to report to EAC as well.

But the admins do catch an insane amount of cheaters although it can be tough to recognize that from the limited player perspective, especially when you're dealing with your own issue. They've banned like over 50,000 cheaters - crazy amount of time and energy goes into it and they want more than anyone to rid the server of each one as quickly as possible. Sucks that they can't be everywhere instantly and that investigations often take time to put together the proof to pull the trigger on the ban. Sorry you're having an issue though :/
