Add a feature which if a tc hasnt been interacted with in 3-5 days, the TC will automatically break. I see it more and more with big groups making metal outer tcs which will stand all wipe

Then once that group is gone, the outers still remain as griefs pretty much.

Likely not, but that's not my choice. We typically don't wipe servers early due to any issues as it's a bit of a big thing to choose to do. This wipe was a test wipe, to work out issues that occurred and see if the demand was there, letting it run an entire month will enable us to see any issues that would occur during the entire month as that is what the server typical wipe schedule will be.

Cutting it off at a week won't show us the issues that would arise 2/3 weeks in, as we are just skipping it.

We have no plans of making our long server No BP Wipe servers. There are plenty of others out there that offer this if it's something you're interested in.

I dont think they will wipe BR Long, they told me they need to see the issues that would arise 2/3 weeks in.
Im not a dev but i think its better if they re-wipe, see hows the server doin now with ~1000 pop and and they will still have 2 more weeks to evaluate the server performance.

Long is a monthly server, we have the licence only for a monthly. Being an official server we can't change the wipe schedule on the fly

even if there was 99.9% or votes for it over thoursand of people we wouldn't be able to do it

one last thing of feedback for now 🙂 i think you guys have one of the most fair shops in terms of points earned/what the pints can get you. some servers you have to play for 50+ hours to get a basic tool or something useful, where on yours if you play for 4 hours you can get some basic base essential that help you out, while still being f2p, would love to see this stay the same and not messed with too much 😄

So i kind of bypass that part and whenever i want to use /kit or /shop i am stuck in that UI, even if i click on the top right X. So people have to find out for themselves whatever the rules icon is to accept the rules so they can exit the UI.

I was curious to see if an AU server will be hosted under rustoria the scene on other servers is bleak and filled with cheating groups that are huge and recently a bunch of Moderators/admins left a particular server branch….. this would be a good way to market to individuals a good rust server that has a popular influence especially seeming as monthly servers have 500+ pop and a 200 player q….. food for thought.

and just makes it unfun for everyone else
the point of rust is to pvp , raid each other ect
you shouldnt need to farm all wipe to raid one base just to get loot

To be honest on modded you don't have the choice, it's so cheap to raid on a x5/x10 that it would be impossible almost to secure some loot, moreover when the meta is to offline raid.

Either you have people online h24 almost or you hide in honeycomb, but at the end of the day on x5/x10, does the loot really matter ? do you raid for loot ?

Raiding on modded you often just drill, honeycomb or bunker that's not that relevant since you can put a bunker anywhere on your base, most people play modded to enjoy some session of pvp/... making it harder to keep loot (to come back the next day without starting over) is more important

What often time kill a modded server are the action of a small group of people, we should not make it more complicated to survive on a modded server

that takes hours and hours to raid

And with the quarries / excav being debuffed from 1diesel = 10k sulf to 1 diesel = 4k sulf wich is the same rates that a 4x would get makes it harder to raid these big box bases that are 80 layers thick and filled with hqm walls / floors ect

Eu estou jogando aqui a bastante tempo, antes até mesmo em servidores no NA. Servidor de wipe semanal fica sem player no 3 dia como padrão de qualquer outro Vanilla ou Mod, BR Long é o servidor com wipe mensal que mais mantém a quantidade de players quase até o final, infelizmente o pessoal ta meio dropado por causa das instabilidades que ambos servidores vem tendo.

A questão do nome do servidor é irrelevante, somente é hospedado no Brasil, assim como servidores no NA não tem só jogadores do NA e sim de toda parte do mundo ainda mais com VPN

In agreement with the majority of people in the chat, we requested a possible change to the BR Main server, since our working hours are mostly from 8AM to 6PM, I believe that if we had an option to wipe at 6PM, much more people would log in, which would facilitate the development of the server, and a possible increase in the number of players, would benefit both sides. Only 4 of us have VIP membership so we are tired of constantly getting disconnected and server crashes that prevent us from playing the game at all. Pinned answer is the worst excuse i have heard in a long time. Having players wait longer in the queue is BETTER than having so many players just not able to play the game at all.. If your goal is to get people to buy VIP trust me no one is going to buy VIP on your server out of spite. If you treat your players like trash they are gonna leave for servers like Rustafied that actually has grace period. This server is super popular so I'm sure you don't care that you lost 10 customers but you should reconsider your decision in future as trying to get people to buy VIP by treating them like shit is also not the best move.

Well, cheaters aren't very nice and have unfair advantages

Bans are issued to teach players a lesson. Unfortunately if you weren't conscious of it then you may have received a punishment for it. Regardless, if you were or weren't then it would be difficult for Admins to understand.

You're more than welcome to create an appeal though

Or at least region servers, i can see further up that someone already asked but the answer was not something you plan to do at this time. But how come? To me as a player it would make a lot of sense to have option to do that and perhaps save a bit paying for that 🙂 rustafied has europass option, i know this aint rustafied but would def be nice to have that option 🙂

you could do long, main, medium, main or you could do long, main, main, main you could do medium main medium main, ...

(keeping in mind vips slots are limited)

Well based on the statistics we have we can tell you that the players behavior are totally random, depend on the weather and alignment of the planets and how they feel

It went from 300-350 some days on late wipe days, to now literally less than 5% of that. Last time I suggested ideas they said “we are taking them under consideration and will talk internally” 6 months ago? lmao

Everything you say in here gets reviewed by them and discussed with the admins/devs internally... If its taken under consideration and still not added it, theres probably a reason why its not been implemented/added

And yes 3x has been way more popular back in the days, just seems like more players prefer other gameplay now. Same as what happened to 5x bps (Zeus)

Hey there @bronze ruin, I can assure you that any and all feedback that is posted here is looked into, passed on and considered by management. Of course, not everything that is posted here is going to make it to servers as a change, we take a collective of information from as many players as possible and try to make changes that are going to be best for everyone, the server and a best overall solution or adjustment for everyone, which ultimately means not all suggestions will make it as I mention but that does not mean they haven't been read and taken into consideration.

Regardless of this, we still want to hear your feedback on exactly what you think could be improved and how, at the end of the day without our players feedback we cant always know what they want or how certain things may be improved. You clearly have a lot of hours in this game and a large portion of those on just a single one of our servers so I appreciate you taking the time to express your concerns here and thoughts and I hope that nothing has discourages you from continuing to do this and I would still like to hear what you have to say.

You mentioned about /ad not being functional when you lasted played? What exactly do you mean by this, it wasn't working for you as expected or? As far as I am aware I haven't seen any issues with this and it does appear to be working as intended. Is there also anything else you wanted to talk about on this server? I am all ears either here or in DM's if you prefer.

Well, for example, HollowServers 3x trios is full capped 400 pop right now 5 hours into wipe
warbandits eu 3x duos 488/500
werewolf gaming 3x trios nearly 400
even US Upsurge 3x, right now day 2 is at 261
and those are all right now, while Rustoria 3x currently has 6 total players.

so the argument that players prefer other gameplay is false in my opinion, I think players are preferring different servers now, thanks to what has now been a full year with these new mods someone threw onto the server one random wipe.

All good, I had tried before to pm all of this instead of using these channels, but I was told "thats's why this channel exist, you can post your ideas here" so I'll just continue

To explain the /ad issue I had, If I got on the server, turned /ad off, then tried turning it back on again, it wouldn't turn back on again. It has been a while though, and I don't mess with it regardless. It's easily the worst feature on the server though. Once people get their base down and then notice their door swing back shut on its own, it quickly becomes a "ok, do continue to play this extra modded server here or switch now" moment for each player that didnt know beforehand.

There was a wipe where the /s points got synchronized across all servers, where before you would get more points on the 5x per hour than on the 3x. That wipe was the same wipe that all of the other strange mods got added onto the 3x. I remember I even pinged this server about "why is there /jackpot on the 3x?" and it got removed thereafter. And also after that wipe, week by week, less and less players were online. Other servers now have their own /s shops, which originally made Rustoria unique, and those other /s servers don't have auto-doors

I would bet you the current pop would go up if that mod at the very least went away. Idk what was wrong with the server before all of those mods were added last year. I played on Rustoria 3x when it was still removed and even then the mods never changed and the server had always been the same and always had its pop because of it

I definitely don't see your messages as disrespectful, as someone who has invested this much time on our servers, it's very understandable that you would be frustrated to see one of your favourite servers drop in population in comparison to some others and wish to express some concerns and ideas about it
