u think 8 ppl will sit 90% of the time in base ? especially on wipeday where u have to grind ? most of the team dont play w us becaus we can play only 6 deep for example .. im sure (i saw multiple clans being 10 deep cycling members here) on wipedays pop will be way higher with higher clan limit

also its 10x small groups taht got raided can legit rebuild in 45 minutes somewhere else and attempt an offline on big group or sum idk

• Nerf the Cargo Ship its respawning way to often every 2h is broken af especially on wipe day. Make it the normal cargo cycle 2-4h
• Nerf the Output of the Quarry/Excavator and make it only 1x so people actually farm and don't build in those Monuments/abuse them
• Increase the Team Ui to 16 so bigger groups don't have the problem of having to kick/create new groups
• Change the maps that are put onto the server for example make Island possible not only this straight maps so the possibility for bigger bases in the coast areas are possible
• Reactivate the MLRS and decrease the amount of Rockets shot to 6 (If possible) and increase the time for it to be possible to be used again to 30 - 45min

US 10x No BP is lacking in the minis department, something with the spawns. Plenty of big scrap copters, no minis at all spawning.

On the other note, Military Base has some of the crappiest loot in the game, currently. Even living near gas station or spermket yields more loot than fighting scientists.

While Arctic Station is more or less viable, desert Military Base is plain garbage, in terms of boxes and overall loot.

Why is the sea main map so weird? There is no powerplant in the map and all the major monuments are in the middle (some not even a grid away). Oil rigs are close to spawn beach. So hard for small teams to play as the zergs control the middle. The main reason sea main is dying after the first few days is because of lack of solo or small groups and maps like these doesn't help with the problem either 😦

For a server that will have the majority of large/good groups playing on the upcoming wipe; the amount of peninsulas and lakes need to be drastically reduced. Size of desert and snow slightly increased. Monuments to be better scattered. (Edges of map and bioms rather than the middle as this causes all these dirt and concrete roads going all over the place.) Both rigs to be further a part aswell as underwater labs. Currently all 3 are on the north side of the map. Also probably outpost in green rather than snow.

That is just some quick pointers for you.

I’m personally very sorry you feel this way and I’m not denying the quality of our network has been bad lately however these times come and go all throughout our history. It’s us getting stronger everytime something like this happens. I know it doesn’t look like that in the short term, however in the long term we are getting stronger. Just 3 years ago, we had our whole network completely down for 2.5 days as an example. Many other occasions and periods where we pass significant turbulence, but us being at the top is causing us to be a huge target for attackers. It’s not the host either. No matter which host we use the attacks affect them or completely down our servers. Its specifically targeting us and us only and no one is immune. Just was to re-iterate how sorry I am and this is by no means me making up excuses either. I fully emphasise and acknowledge your feelings, and you’re not the only one either. Myself, as the sole owner & director of Rustoria, I’m not happy too. But me being involved and me feeling this way means that I’m allocating all resources possible to counter these issues as well as developing things and expanding things even further. Problem is these things takes time and nothing is done overnight. But work has commenced weeks ago and we continue to work hard every day to fix and improve from these issues. Just hope you understand and at least consider returning in the future! Or helping us say a big fuck you to the attackers by sticking around and not letting them win, while we work through this.

Suggestion: I think the addition of a ticket bot to the server would be great, it allows players to make confidential reports as only the reporter and admins have access to the channel. The well known ticket bots also have features allowing you to archive the report. This can perhaps help better organize reports you’d like to return to.

Suggestion: Swap @jovial rover and @tough spire wipe schedules! Reasoning: Server population on both servers especially on the US servers has been rapidly declining over the past 2 months, swapping these schedules would make more sense. For example, the 10x has friday, saturday, and sunday as a weekend wipe. Yet the only 5x weekend wipe is sunday, due to the fact that population dies on the Wednesday wipe. Swapping these would make more sense because the 10x loot and gather rate means it is 2x faster to obtain loot theoretically so why not have less weekend wipe days for the 10x. It would increase population on the 5x rapidly and evenly balance the loot obtainability and would boost server performace for both sides. @here

I think some balancing would help.

Reduce /outpost CD (currently 30min). Players could then be more active with flying.

Increase the raid zone distance. It feels too easy to funnel loot or trade in boom. Increasing the distance would also force clans to build fobs further away and buffs countering raids.

Remove sleeping bag/bed CD reduction for donators. It's really busted.

Also, towels are busted on 3x right now. Needs same nerf treatment 5x & 10x got.

Think 16 ui is overall UNHEALTHY for the server. Just look at 12 ui for example. Groups already play 30-40 deep. Your average group is around 20 give or take. Back on rustafied med 2/3 days when ui was 8 it was perfect. Rust was amazing then. Now you have ui at 12, therefore letting people play even deeper… now we wanna talk about 16? People won’t be so afraid to play even deeper now. Literally the ONLY thing that kinda sounds fun is raiding with 16 that’s it. Anything and I mean anything outside of that and it’s boring/unhealthy for the server overall. I think that’s just objectively true

This process is fully automated and staff members are not able to change the slots!
Though the slots are dynamic, there will always be a hard limit to guarantee the best performance as well as the overall user experience.
Our Long or Medium servers will not get their slots increased to match our Main servers as that would not meet the expectations of a Long or Medium server.
