Suggestion:
As I understand it, when a player gets banned for (Hacking), as written in global chat, it could be just for using a VPN. So we don't really know if they were hacking or not.
The suggestion is to mark those kickbans as (VPN) for example, and the real cheaters as (Hacking) ?
I see other servers do this and it helps avoid false accusations.

Rustoria could capture "some" of the big raids that happen on its server and make a youtube video on it at the end of the month. I am sure a lot of people love watching raids but just can't catch up with all of them. This will encourage more clans to do more online raids rather than offlining which is boring. Raids are one of the mindblowing aspects of the game and I am sure Rustoria is home to some of the best raids. This benefits everyone tbh. People who watch the video will be interested to try out the server with their team to be part of the raids and teams who actually do the raids can get their names out through the video and gain some exposure.

The slots on our servers are dynamic. This means that the server will automatically increase or decrease the slots, depending on the queue.
This process is fully automated and staff members are not able to change the slots!
Though the slots are dynamic, there will always be a hard limit to guarantee the best performance as well as the overall user experience.
Our Long or Medium servers will not get their slots increased to match our Main servers as that would not meet the expectations of a Long or Medium server.

Yeah due to it lying with FP, we can't act upon balancing changes on our servers unfortunately. We had to remove recyclers from fishing villages for example despite it not being quite a big change in our eyes. So I'm certain they won't be happy with adding extra vendings.

Don't think rustoria us planning on doing a longer wipe for 2x/other modded servers. We have 2x servers which wipe every mon/Fri since the server usually dies after 4 days, and those servers get 400+ pop 🙂

A VPN whitelist is so needed as a safety net for cheaters, the cheating issue is such a problem, especially on SEA servers and they can just hop on a brand new account after getting banned, kid named dante was on SEA main for all day 1/2 spidermanning and speedhacking around launch then he hops on US toria before finally getting banned, its way too long to have someone hard cheating on the servers

I know the vpn whitelist is such a big ask for the admins to deal with as well, but it would really make toria the most suitable server to play over all the competition, its such a good server but the cheating problems are just too out of hand

While your suggestion may be true, it's just not something that is practical. There are multiple reasons why this wouldn't really work. Some of those being the insane volume of players that we would have to verify, language barriers, inaccessibility to request whitelisting and confusion.

if there was split attention between cheating tickets and whitelist tickets i believe having the whitelist tickets would reduce the cheater ticket amount by a large number because cheaters would struggle being able to come back as quick

or at all* because if they cant just change their IP then they would not be a permanent issue like they currently are

I was on the atlas staffing team for a short period of time and i know it can be done as atlas would reach up to 700 pop on one of their servers alone

One thing that can be annoying about online games and gaming in general is cheating. It will always be there in games and while the admins and devs do everything the can to prevent this sometimes cheaters and hackers find away around this. For them it’s a cat and mouse game basically.
