This process is fully automated and staff members are not able to change the slots!
Though the slots are dynamic, there will always be a hard limit to guarantee the best performance as well as the overall user experience.
Our Long or Medium servers will not get their slots increased to match our Main servers as that would not meet the expectations of a Long or Medium server.

We’re playing Rust 2. Rustoria is an official server host, they’re always going to side with Facepunch (which is good, rustoria genuinely has the best high pop servers, obviously for a reason) a lot of people would like old recoil / old aimcone / no minis / no cars / no horses / no MLRS / etc. Rust isn’t as much of what it started as, survival island type of game. Now it’s moving towards updated military grade type of gaming. You can fly your mini in pitch black with NVGs to an armored truck that shoots up to 12 guided missiles. Then after you raid that group you can transfer all the loot with your 12 man in a scrap helicopter with a lot less chance of dying rather than roaming the ground. Rust is progressing brother. Old recoil is so far out of the question.

to balance the game and make it a bit more hard for big team. it's true a lot of big teams plays long and medium but they are also the first to leave (huge wave after a few days then when it's medium time they go on medium, if they play medium a lot goes for main too on second week). Which leave mainly small groups/solo/... on the server

Even for those big team that stay, if you look at it a lot of their members don't join back after few days, the team get runned by an innercircle

i was just thinking on hc eu last week that hardcore would be better with larger maps. more orientation, less pvp ambushes, it's perfect vibes for hardcore survival. we don't need it to be a battle royal arena, there is even more at stake than on regular game mode. more room for doing all sorts of stuff would be awesome for immersion without compass, people would get to build bigger bases with more defenses, farm more boom from nodes, and it would overall make the hc meta more epic in all aspects. not just road pvp lol personally if there was a solo only hardcore server vanilla rates (or 2x) with 8k map and 2 weeks wipes (EU tho) I would main it. i definitely believe the solo only hc servers out there are too conservative in their settings, and there's lots of room for improvement to make hc the epic game mode it can blossom into.

I'm sorry but you have no clue what you're talking about 😦 It happens though where a player feels personally slighted due to a particular situation but it really just seems like a misunderstanding/lack of perspective. I know firsthand how hard all the admins work - they're constantly following up on every single report as in-depth as possible and thankfully they're very often successful in identifying and removing rulebreaking players from the community. I'm sure your specific situation involves a player or players that you're convinced is cheating - there's no way the admin team is just lazy about it in any way. Best thing you can ever do is to send in a detailed ticket in-game (with /ticket add (your report) when you see the player online and active. If you have any sort of evidence you can include it as a link (normally Youtube, Streamable, Imgur, etc) and the admins will also review that. Make sure not to call anything out in game and then use F7 to report to EAC as well. If the player hasn't been banned then they are either found to not be cheating or there hasn't been enough evidence to confirm they are, but I do believe in the longterm cheaters are caught, especially on Rustoria. The staff honestly cares a lot and wants more than anyone to just provide an awesome place to play Rust. Sucks that people cheat and that admins can't be everywhere instantly but overall there's nowhere else I'd rather play, just knowing how hard they all work behind-the-scenes. Sorry that it's not always easy to see that and I hope everything works out for you - just really feel you're mistaken with your evaluation of the admin team since it couldn't be more incorrect. They're far from lazy but I understand how you can't really see the lengths that they go to daily to follow up on reports. Good luck and have a good day

Never a good idea to call things out in chat 😦 I get that you think you're doing something helpful but it's quite the opposite. Calling things out in chat or in voice undermines the effectiveness of subsequent investigations. When I was an admin I had it happen all too often where a well-meaning player was yelling at the suspected cheater something like "The admins are coming! You're going to be get banned!" all while I was trying to investigate and it screwed things up and slowed things down. Always much better to keep your cool after sending in a ticket so that the admin has the best shot at seeing what's going on. Also, from the player perspective, which is extremely limited, you'd have absolutely no clue when the admins are on and investigating. They're invisble and spectating, something we'd often do for hours on a particular concerning player, all while the reporting player was complaining that no one cares, which of course was completely wrong. There's so much time and effort that these admins put in, all for your benefit, whether you recognize it or not. And also just by your comment but I'm sorry you also don't understand how large popular servers work and the sheer amount of reports that come in. These admins are always going through every ticket (don't spam them). Just keep your cool, next time you see the particular player online send in a ticket in-game and wait for a response, while not calling things out. That's the best thing you can do

recently reddit admins made map preview channel on their discord for every server they own. basically everyone can see the map on every server at least 24 hours before the wipe (without voting) , i think its a very good idea , i know long servers have map vote and its kinda a good idea to keep it , what i'm trying to suggest is that you can keep the voting for long but make it so every other server just has a map preview with no voting and show the map 24 hours before the wipe i feel like its something more people would want and i think reddit made a good move doing that but you can tell me your opinion about it

Hello there, sorry to see you are frustrated with the reaction times of administrators, however we do receive A LOT of tickets especially on wipe day but I can assure you we work through them as quickly as possible and do our best to answer ticket we receive first before moving on to the next tickets. Unfortunately some tickets take much longer than others - especially calling the cheaters out can cause them to toggle before we can investigate. In the future I would not recommend doing this if you want a faster reaction time. We appreciate your patience - again we do try our best to get to every ticket as quickly as possible.

Looking at your reports you sent in a report and the player was banned 5 minutes after you sent in a report as for the former reports it seems the admin did not have reason to suspect them of cheating prior to this even after checking this player out for a reasonable amount of time. However - you are free to have your own opinions about how tickets should be handled but we will not ban because someone simply makes a ticket saying some is cheating. As for wipe we have Mondays servers as well if you check out our server list therefore it is a wipe day for us.

💀 200 pop on a FRIDAY PRIME TIME,, the server averages 70 players every other day of the week,, even still 200 (which is is for like 2h at most) on a map this big is not necessary, there is 0pvp, nobody goes counters monuments because you have to run11 grids + for any sory of pvp.. just change it from Large map to medium at least!! even then its still too big.. the people in the server all agree

I have been killed by cheaters today, admins the ones non playing admins like to make videos of cheaters, they like to joke around after they kill a dozen of people… please good people notice me so they can understand, that cheaters, scripters, people with fly hack that can get your build spot faster then you think, russians that can buy the game for 5$ and buy accounts have no room in rust. This has to be a revolution. A moment before wipe i got contacted bu a guy, who was offering to cheat in order for ouer group to get the upper-hand!

This is the voice we rust players have : -Deal with the cheaters problem ! Pay your moderators first so they can get deserved treatment and stay more active to catch cheaters! Improve your anti-cheat ! Add more employes!

Please increase "server.maxItemStacksMoverPerTickIndustrial" on your modded servers. It's currently set at "32" and with stack sizes at 10k, it takes forever to transfer items.

Our official servers use vanilla decay, this won't be changed I'm afraid - if you believe the decay timers are too slow, you would be better off making an F7 report to suggest this to Facepunch 🙂

On 3x stacks go up to 10k no matter whether it is player inventory or static inventory. On 2x TC stacks go up to 5k though any other inventory goes up to it's vanilla values. I believe it should be changed to where it's consistent throughout the server and tuned down a little. A lot of 2x servers allow your inventory to go up to 2k which makes a lot more sense when calculating TC upkeep. Additionally it's a bit disappointing farming a full inventory just to see ⅕th of TC filled up.

i see the problem telling you why are you telling me to write a facepunch if rustoria can improve its server for the players. it's terrible when there are 200 walls on the roaming spot, which load the server and interfere with normal roaming. it's probably not difficult to make a vote, and the players will already decide what is best for them

Add the no island map generation to some of the map votes for long (50/50 maybe), the reason they didn’t get too many votes the last time 2 or 3 were added into the vote was simply because the monument layout was not good compared to the winning island maps, not because of the no island part. Maybe make the medium map this type too.
