It's a great server system with excellent staff. Sucks when issues like that happen - it's temporary, life goes on. But definitely a personal choice where you'd like to play. Will just say Rustoria is full of really good people. Unfortunately they have to be consistent and even if you didn't necessarily know the individual was cheating, it still will sit you out for a short time so it underscores the importance of doing some due diligence and if someone seems sketch, bail and report them. Only becomes a real big deal when it's a pattern. Thankfully many thousands of players play every month with no problems and just have a good time. Sorry that happened to you, just as another player. Sucks that people cheat and temporarily set back people who ended up on their side for whatever reason. Blame the cheater

They don't "just let hackers" - they're constantly spending a ton of time and energy every day following up on every single player concern as quickly as possible. But they're human and can't be everywhere instantly. It's good to realize that there are a ton of other players with concerns that feel just as urgent to them and the admins want more than anyone to get rid of every single cheater they can. Thankfully overall they're extremely successful and ban an insane amount long before EAC has a clue in the majority of cases. But again, yeah, they can't just instantly be everywhere and investigations take time. It would be a logistic impossibility to return every single item that someone who was found to be cheating interfered with. Sucky reality of Rust as a whole - people cheat but thankfully they're removed normally as quickly as possible and all you can do is try to mitigate your exposure by diversifying loot, submitting good reports, not calling things out in chat, using F7, etc. Good luck and hope you end up having fun and it balances out for you. Totally can relate how it sucks at the time but hopefully you understand these people care a lot and try hard every day
