hey so i only have 20 hours in rust and thats spread out over almost 2 years last night i joined Rustoria.co US long (more then likely for the first time) and a guy inv me to a group and helped me re learn the game since i haven't played in a while. we played for a long while ( prob abt 3am cst) we got some loot from a decanying base(ik i spelled it wrong) and some other loot i thought nothing of it and he start to get aks and other stuff from the "ground" witch since i am new i didn't think anything from it (now i know he prob hacked it in or something) after a while i log off. i come back td to join the sever so i can see if he did anything after i left ik the wipe is soon but i am bored and got nothing else to do. If you've sent in a ticket in-game with "/ticket add (your report with details)" then you're good and just need to wait for an admin to complete their investigation. They're always following up on every single player concern as quickly as possible - there are just a lot of player reports across all servers + they're human and already volunteering their time to help. My group has been reporting but this guy is getting fly hacked 4 times already. Guy has 100 hours. Managing to climb up on a 7 floor high base with no way up. Keeps changing his name and picture.

Yeah, all you can do is wait. Admins are always checking every report as quickly as possible. There's probably 2 admins on to cover 4,000 players+ at certain times so it can be a little crazy

There's no way to estimate it. Also I have nothing to do with staff. It can be difficult from the player perspective to evaluate what's going on - sometimes investigations take awhile and the best thing someone can do is send in a detailed ticket, F7 report to EAC, and then just be patient while limiting their exposure to the suspected cheater as much as possible until an admin has a chance to fully complete their check and respond to the report.

Pinging an admin isn't going to speed things up for a report - you just need to be patient and do what I said above. The admins wish they could be in multiple places at once and they want to get rid of every possible rulebreaker as quick as possible more than anyone. But again, they're human and always trying their best.

You can submit a "Mute appeal" on http://bans.rustoria.co and it'll be reviewed. You'll likely have to wait out your mute though - just as a guess. The vast majority of the time they're correct.

Best thing to do is send in a ticket in-game with "/ticket add (your report)". You can include a link to the uploaded clip, normally Streamable or Youtube, in your ticket. Just don't call anything out in chat and voice and it doesn't hurt to F7 to report to EAC as well

They have their own lives and they're basically volunteering their time to help people. I know firsthand that the admins work ridiculously hard to help as much as possible

We help with cheaters, you just have to make a report for us to look into it, like Zen has outlined.

They catch and ban a ridiculous amount of cheaters every month, normally long before EAC has a clue. Definitely a benefit of playing on these servers - but unfortunately Rust has cheaters and they're massively popular public servers so they can't always be caught instantly. The admins will always review the situation in-depth for each in-game ticket submitted though. Totally get how in the moment it can be frustrating but they do work super hard every day for the benefit of everyone just trying to have a good time.

They get it. Really just comes down to sending in the detailed ticket, using F7 as well, and then refraining from calling anything out and limiting your exposure to the suspected cheater as much as possible. Doesn't hurt to have some sort of recording capability so you can clip, upload and link in a ticket if you believe it will serve as evidence. Feel ya though and hope if there is a player cheating that they're caught and removed asap. Good luck out there and have a great day

Have you tried to do "/auth" in-game lately? Good to try that if you haven't. If it's still being an issue then you may need to have a Head Mod or Admin mess with some stuff on their end to refresh it all. Easy fix though but just might be a wait
