Putting codes into a hacker's base after the hacker reaching out to you means you are directly benefitting from the hacker loot. You are obtaining an unfair advantage that no other user is able to have resulting from the hacker's actions. Any user associated with the hacker would be banned, including any user which is taking over the hacker's base after being DM'ed the code.

It's a known derogatory term that is being used by players in this game frequently to attack other players with so therefore it is mutable for anyone who says it. This is taken straight from the wiki:

I want to know how i got banned for teaming supposedly, I went to a raid and watched the raid from a distance never shot at all until i was shot at then i got involved but was shooting at both sides as you would be able to clearly see. The whole "We had neighbors and we just didn't shoot each other. " is the definition of teaming/associating. If you check /rules on the server - you'd want to be careful in the future that your association, counting online and offline members, doesn't exceed the group limit. Even though you're a duo, if you're associating/being friendly with/coordinating etc with a group, for example a 6 man on a 6 player clan max server, you'd be over the limit 😦 It's temporary though and will lift at the end of the wipe I'd assume and then life goes on. Just be careful in the future and you won't ever have an issue

Head over to this folder (C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Rust\maps) and find the procedural map which it should give you in the disconnection message and delete it and try connect then.

If you are having "Windows IO Exception: Win32 IO returned 112":
Then please make sure you have enough drive space.

Gameban is different to VAC if you tried to launch rust off the account you would then find out which is game banned. There is nothing more we can do for you at this point.

Glad you did a ticket. Always best to designate someone in your group to send in a detailed ticket about the player you find most suspicious rather than just reporting an entire group for possible cheating. Looks like you did single out someone though so that's great 🙂 It'll be followed up on and you'll receive a response as soon as possible. Doesn't hurt to F7 obviously as well to report to EAC. Just make sure not to call anything out in chat or voice so we have the best opportunity to evaluate what's going on.
