If this was a different group, wouldn't you want it to be thoroughly looked at? Say you saw a cheater being banned, and you know him as playing in a specific team, you would question how come the rest of the team isn't getting banned, correct?
Or say you spot a pattern of a specific team, to recruit cheaters, you would ask how are they allowed to keep doing that, wouldn't you?
I realize it's subjectively annoying, but the point is to make the servers fair for everyone, hope you understand the logic
You were just unlucky with the members you recruited, be more careful next time

The thing with appeals is, they are very thoroughly reviewed, because players get only 1 chance for an appeal
So to avoid any mistakes and give a 100% fair and accurate response, they give themselves a 1-3 day period to review them (they - the admins)
