last mondays wipe i got banned for association (my friend was banned for hacking only a server ban too btw no game ban or vac) we both knew he was innocent so he appealed and i also appealed, after appealing he got unbanned but i checked my appeal today and see i got denied so im guessing there was a mistake?

I understand it can be frustrating if you believe the player you are reporting is cheating, however from our perspective at this time they have shown no signs that they are using cheats. We don't get to see how players act 24-7. Players toggle and don't always consistently cheat. I always suggest reporting players you think are suspicious to EAC as well as reporting them to us. No warning nothing. Dude had one other person in his group and claimed to have only 2 people total when I asked. I made sure he confirmed with me so I didn't get banned but he was clearly lying and now I'm screwed off my favorite rust server that I play every single week

@wary moth That would be an issue if the combined players in both the teams, counting online and offline, are 6 or above. Like two trios. A 3 man and a duo are fine with associating. If it's over the limit then /ticket add (your report with details) in-game

Never hurts to clip whatever if possible with something like OBS or Shadowplay and include a link to the uploaded clip (unlisted YouTube, Streamable) in your ticket. Just seen it help a lot
