This is due to Googles API terms of service have changed meaning we need to make adjustments our side to comply with them. I'm not exactly sure, since I wasn't there to see what happened, but on trio servers, you must make sure you clear TC, bags, team, codes. Everything you can think of that will "scrub" the old player out of the group, otherwise our system can detect it and issue a ban. The only way to have it looked at is to submit a ticket for admin review.

No. In fact, when raiding, you are required to clear TC before doing anything, otherwise it will think multiple people are on a team. We can't tell the difference between who's teaming and who isn't, so we have to do it this way
