I mean the system in general for reporting cheaters on this server is frustrating. A lot of servers use systems that provide players some sort of feedback on the outcome. I got banned on rustoria for an entire wipe and change for being "fishy" because i had a private profile and a good KDA. Ive reported this kid already a bunch of times, he 100% scripts, and nothing happens

Every single ticket receives a response @languid frigate We take each report seriously (wish you saw behind the scenes). Just know more than anyone each admin wants to get rid of every cheater humanly possible.

We’re open about the fact that scripts specifically can be extremely difficult to determine with certainty- we don’t just ban on a hunch. Although we have banned many, many people for scripting but it’s case by case. You can have a feeling that someone is scripting but we spend a lot of time evaluating everything and there are limitations with that unfortunately. F7 leading to EAC scans are the best bet for it every time- anything else we have a very high success rate confirming. We also don’t just ban people because they have a private profile and a good KDA.- there’s a lot of other factors that are considered.

The amount of vip slots we have open is only due to the fact that rust only allows 1000 connections per server, not something we can really fix, if the server is over pop you just have to wait till the server drops pop to move the non vips in. Example “700 out of 600” meaning there is 100 extra slots being used by the vips, meaning if we added more vip slots the queue times would get longer for the non vip players.

This is due to Googles API terms of service have changed meaning we need to make adjustments our side to comply with them.
