This issue is completely subjective, but there have been connection issues recently. But these issues are not a series of short-lived lag spikes, but more prolonged lag that the entire server will complain about in game if it's a server problem. Outside of that, it's extremely difficult to pinpoint why you're getting that issue. Do you play any other server enough to judge if it's only the server in question?

I appreciate your position, but I have 150 hours in the past two weeks, only on Rustoria, and I've only had problems for maybe 2 hours total in that time. I also appreciate that this problem has been slightly different from server to server (vanilla / modded. EU / US) but to say that no effects are visible for a week just isn't fair to the people working hard to fix the issues. Correct, if you were banned you would receive a completely different error message. But do feel free to try the usual solutions to network issues. Restart game > Restart Steam > Restart internet router. If none of the above work, it is likely a result of a network outage for the server connection to your region.

It really is impossible to say, but the attacks are rarely in progress for longer than 24 hours, due to the cost of sustaining an attack for longer. In my experience on playing servers under attack, generally speaking anywhere from an hour to 12 hours 🙂

But it is really subjective, and there's not much to do other than ride it out and wait for the server providers to do their thing.

I cannot say what would have made you get banned. You have to understand, we get people all the time who come in here and will say absolutely anything to get somebody to look at their ticket. Hackers and rule-followers alike. Until we can get somebody free to thoroughly look at the situation, it's pretty much a waiting game. I know it's not the answer people like to hear, but based on past experience, we've learned that the best thing we can do is follow protocol to a T. It's the only way to ensure nobody falls through the cracks and everybody is treated fairly by not rushing to decisions.

A good experiment would be to try using a VPN to connect. If it's a routing issue from your ISP, you may be able to bypass it. It would at least help diagnose the issue

Not all of them. I cannot recommend one to you though, you will need to do that research on your own. Usually it's a program you must download and select a country you'd like to connect from. Pick something like the United States and then try connecting to the game

I know it sounds odd, but I actually worked for an ISP for years. It is possible for a route to become broken when attempting to connect to a certain server in a particular country. Usually it's an IPv6 problem, but that's something out of yours and our control. I can't see if this is for sure the issue, but something is actively blocking you out of it. Other people are able to connect, so it's not the server itself, and with you being in a country that most of our users are not from, it could be your location specifically
