If Facepunch have reasonable suspicion the user will be game banned within 48-72 hours.
If you are deemed to not have a reply in over a week, the report is classed as 'invalid' meaning the user was not hacking. For More Information Check The Facepunch Website By Searching Rust Bans : Forum called EAC will pop up

In short if you're combat blocked then Outpost will kill you. if they kill you then a 30 minute timer gets set till you can go back.

Evap when you are considered hostile, because you shoot around or have a weapon on your hand while the timer counted down you have a crosshair symbol on the top right (tab) and the time for how long is written there as well
