I know this happened a long time ago already, around 1 months ago, but honestly I still think about it sometimes because it felt really unfair on my side. I understand that having low hours and already playing well can look suspicious, and maybe that was my mistake too for not realizing how it would look from the admins’ perspective. But getting banned so quickly, and not just banned but IP banned, really killed my motivation to keep playing the game.

I wasn’t trying to gain sympathy or anything, I just wanted to say that situations like this happen to more players than people think. Rust isn’t a cheap game, especially for someone like me from a country where money is hard to earn, and as a student with no job, buying the game was already a big thing for me. Then after around 30 hours, I just got banned like that, which really discouraged me and eventually made me quit.

Now that I’m coming back to the game, I noticed most official servers are still where my friends play, and playing alone on other servers just isn’t the same. Playing solo feels boring, but playing with friends is a completely different experience. I’m not here to argue or cause trouble, I just wanted to share my side and how it affected me even after all this time.

At this point I'm quite confident that some admins of this server really have it out for our party. They keep spawning bears behind us in gunfights, spawn players with 1300 hours on training grounds servers on abandoned military base so we won't be able to fire MLRS rockets at the base of that racist clan. They even reduce the jump distance (this one only for me for some reason). Yesterday, they even cut the power in one of our teammates houses during the raid. And of course they keep banning every newbie player that joins us for "High Risk Account", yet lots of cheaters we encounter somehow continue to play without any consequences. One of them (and all his teammates) got banned by anti-cheat recently after he went full rage mode and started spawning double bullets from his bolt action rifle right into our heads (I have no idea how this even possible). All tickets created on him previously were declined.

I understand that the player count is high and since anti-cheat in Rust isn't doing its job (as most of the players would expect it to do), lots of players would suspect each other of cheating an create a bunch of unfairly accusing reports. Sometimes admins don't have all the context and even if it would be described in the ticket it's probably impossible to verify. Like for example yesterday some team tried to anti-raid our raid. They eventually lost but we had to waste tons of time on that. Immidiately after that we found some naked guy that kept coming back to our base. We checked his account - just created (not even an hour old). After sometime we flew over to check their base and this guy was already there. What a coincidence, right? It couldn't be more obvious that they hired him to x-ray our base. I checked their bm, both garbage, but one was complete garbage, like ~30-40 hours in rust, yet they already know how to anti-raid, and understand lots of complicated rust mechanics. Conclusion: it's not their first account and I think in 95 percent of such cases it's either because their previous account got banned and/or they're cheating, or they play with a cheater and are afraid to get banned on their main account (or their main account is already banned). Anyway, the ticket on them got declined as well. So, it feels rather weird.
