ok so I think I found the actual reason.. My friend got banned by Easy Anti cheat for nothing. I know its a common story for any cheater to say "I didn't cheat!" but the ban that he got is temporary and lasts only for 1 day, he got a steam notification, its in the screenshot. Apparently it will be lifted tomorrow since it says "you have received a game lock from Easy Anti-Cheat in Rust until February 22" right after that I got banned from the server too.. He is 100% not a hacker, he doesn't PVP, just logs in to maintain the upkeep of his base and that's pretty much it.
Since the steam ban is temporary, and was probably triggered by a VPN service (our suspicion), can we get unbanned?
