Hi, I just want to ask and clearup, just now my account was compromised and scam messages were sent from my steam account. I had no Login notification or such (I have 2FA, strong password etc.) so access could only have been granted if it was logged somewhere for it. I have recently bought VIP and thus was logged in at the Rustoria site. I’m not accusing or anything, I just want to ask if there has been maybe a compromise to user data on the site which may have given access in that way. Before anyone says anything, no I have not clocked on weird links or logged in with my steam account where I shouldn’t. Last login was on Rustoria. That’s why I’m asking.

I have played on Rustoria consistently for over a year with this individual. Up until today, there was never any indication of TOS violations. This wasn't a random recruit; it was a long-term teammate who made a poor decision without the team's knowledge. As seen in the video I provided in my ticket, I was the one who confronted him and caught him in the lie. I do not condone cheating and would have reported him myself had the system not caught him instantly. Because he was 'insta-banned' the moment he logged into Vanilla, there was no gameplay period where I could have seen him cheating or benefited from his actions. I was banned for the actions of a teammate that occurred before he even joined the server.

like ive been rage cehated by two diffrent groups adn neither will have action taken against them

4 tickets opend on one group one for each player and bs awnsers sayin u found nothing. id found enough evidence betwen fighting them 3 times but watchign them for 5 secs obviously wont see anything

and the other group is the most blatant ive runinto in fucking months and even with combatlog and their player statsitcs in server id get a not enough evidence for the ban

IDK, any evidence you can submit obviously helps see your point of view but again admins here are very through if you think they are cheating submit a clip that might help them see what you saw. The admins here are very experienced on knowing what a cheater is, they have access to stuff that you as a player do not, I can also say they don't watch for 5 seconds and clear, its not how it works.

so like a players combat log typa thign over the time of them playgin the server? lets open that up on any of teh players ive reported and youll see some intresting stuff. i can tell you without doubt by looking at the players battlemetrix in how much theyve played in the last month in combination with the way they play that they, if a admin would actually spectate any of the 5 playrs id reported 2 of which were hard cheating they coudl understand that they are not a normal player

how do i get unbanned? I got banned for playing with a cheater but i didnt know he was cheating, im new and was looking for a teammate on the rust discord. After we got kicked he insta left call and blocked me lol

ring lived next to me on the server i was having issue with and he likely couldve fought the same payer that was closetcheating. if ring had managed to kill him the player wouldve come back with his cheats turned up to get his loot back

ngl it is very hard to catch a cheater if they are using DMA eac cant catch it and if they are smart with it admins wont be able to either, admins do a great job but no one can ever catch 100 percent of hackers
