It's a shitty situation that you have found yourselves in, you just need to give it a little bit of time for the admins to review the appeals and get to the bottom of it.

Sometimes it's an easy thing, other times it's a really complicated mess that takes time to sort through the details on.

The admins understand that you want to get back to the game and start having fun, but you need to give them time to review the details and make a determination.

I explained this same thing to your team mate but yes, being in a UI with the cheater would still be association. You and your group may of genuinely been completely unaware they were cheating, but being in the UI with them will have given you and the rest of your team an advantage as they were killing others in that area and not you. It definitely sucks to be caught up in this but the ban in that sense is at least correct. If you had died to a cheater and we didn't ban the players he was in a UI with and seemingly playing with because of that, you'd think it would be unfair so I hope you can see from that perspective too.
