A user named Isabella (Steam profile: https://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561199567134281) contacted me, pretending to be a “visual skin designer at Rustoria.” She sent me several links asking me to “vote for a skin.”

The website she linked includes a fake Steam login popup designed to steal credentials. She also offered “VIP on their servers” as a reward for voting.

This is clearly a phishing attempt. I have already reported the website as phishing on:

Just to clarify: as Rustoria is the brand being impersonated, you can directly contact the domain registrar and request the fraudulent domain to be suspended.
To find the registrar, you can simply use a WHOIS lookup service such as https://who.is

Unfortunately, I understand there’s not much that can be done on the Steam side — they don’t really prevent this kind of abuse, and these are likely thousands of bot accounts. Even if one is banned, another will appear.

I’m just glad I noticed the phishing attempt before clicking anything. I wanted to make sure you were aware so fewer players fall for it.
