This reason is subjective by the standards of the administration and the technical part, that's why they don't disclose the details, this is an indicator of the administration's incompetence. Just horrendous management with this server.
No explanations to its users or any compensation.
Time and time again they just tell you to "suck it up" to every problem that occurs.

Why does an Administrator team exist if it cannot perform.

This server provider has been dogshit for more than 12 months now - with higher ping, lag issues, unable to handle a higher population.

Yet no change has been made or anything announced for improvement.

We give explanations where there are explanations to give - particularly on the host front, Ryan has said multiple times that hosting options in that region are limited, and not up to the same standard as EU/US, we can't directly impact that, as much as we'd like to - it's a limitation of the infrastructure in that region, but Ryan and the rest of the dev team are constantly looking for potential improvements - we're not sat back doing nothing, but the servers are operating in a difficult region, which is why there aren't many orgs that have servers there at all.

When a save file or save files become corrupted - sometimes they can be uncorrupted, but sometimes there is no recourse but to revert to the closest uncorrupted save file, we're aware of the impact that doing so has, and it's not a decision that is made lightly, but there is no alternative besides wiping all progress (which is definitely not a good option either), and despite redundancy, it is not always possible to fix. You're looking at the worst-case, last resort scenario today.

Compensation of lost loot just isn't possible, due to official server restrictions, and even if it was, it's would be practically impossible to identify and verify all affected parties. I apologise that you have gotten the impression that we don't care, because that's not the case at all, far from it, but our hands are completely tied in a situation like this, there is nothing the admins can say in response besides what has already been said.

We are always doing all we can to provide the best experience possible, and where we fall short, we absolutely take onboard feedback and do our utmost to improve - that's been Ryan's ethos since forever, and nothing at all has changed on that front - at least internally.
