about 6 months ago I was banned for cheating, I made several tickets about it but was ignored because my ip had prior bans, no one listened to my explination that my ip did not have prior bans but my ip pool did because I go to a university (everyone has the same ip pool and i guess someone had been banned), in short my appeal was ignored because of my "prior infractions" to which I did not have.
