I know how to report. The problem is when I send in reports of a guy tripple HS from 141 meters away with a sar, when I am in a boat. 'Not enough evidence'. You have litterally a dozen level 0 accounts, or not set up accounts rolling around doing thing I would expect to see a 4k hour do. Or have the aim of a 5k beamer.

As a player who 99% of the time tries to use diplomacy and music for creating peace around their area of affect and only on Vanilla main US, I was banned for "Playing with Cheater" when I don't in fact know of any cheater I could have been playing with since I make friends with everyone normally. I have Appealed my ban and wait diligently to play on the only Rust server that I play on.

In this time of being banned I do not believe I will be able to upkeep the resources necessary into the buildings I have wasted hours of my life into creating for an Admin to loosely toss a ban at me. How do I apply for an Admin position so I can work on creating a less toxic ban system by reviewing without assuming?

In adding them to my team, I am not giving them base codes or friend invites. I am trying to stay safe in my area by adding someone who is killing people around my area so I can farm safely. I am curious as to how these large 30 man groups don't get banned with the single cheaters they have on their team and yet I add to random naked Russian kids at 3AM and log off only to find myself banned for 7 days.

hello llama me and many of my teamates have been banned because apparently someone added a hacker to team, i still am not sure who added the hacker and what the name was. We run a hotel on the server and we frequently add people around us so we dont shoot each other we are trying to be friendly with. I think its unfair banning all these people who have never hacked or played with hackers. And the hackers that have raided us are unbanned yet we get banned for an accidental add that we would have never known this person was cheating. pretty unfair and really lame if you ask me.

We play on rustoria for the high pop and with high pop there are many cheaters I've played for several wipes on this server and there is always cheaters if you cant suppress the cheating effectively why punish your regular players especially those that support the server and pay for VIP. It seems this server has such a problem with cheating and rust in general so it can be almost impossible to properly vet people that you add to team.

Frank and I are members of the same team both with association bans we would never play with hackers, but like i said we add people around us so we dont keep killing eachother. I guess we cannot add anyone anymore pretty unfair to ban people who are just playing the game and have never hacked or had a ban.

seems to me like there is a lack of effort from admins on diagnosing the cheating and banning the guilty party. I was not even online when the cheater was added to team. My sleeping self is somehow guilty just because of the team I was on when I logged for the night. If you actually took the time to ban the guilty players instead of banning entire teams of innocent players it would save you alot of these types of issues.

You're still responsible as a team on whom you invite to your team - if you wake up to a base full of loot gathered by a cheater you'll still benefit from it. It would be easy to avoid bans that way and still wake up to a base farmed by cheaters

So yes, you'll be punished as a team as you're playing as a team and invite players as a team

Easy way to find out without having to wait is to get everyone into a discord call, have everyone screenshare logging in. The cheater(s) will have "banned: hacking/cheating" and the others should have "banned: association."

Reaching out regarding Mafia's Hotel. The nature of our group is to build a solo, duo, trio location where players can get a room and not worry about upkeep. Helps with the monotony of doing the same junk every wipe. Some of us have been playing since Rust initially came out and taking on a different approach to Rust is a refreshing change of pace. Weve been running without incident for 7 weeks. Apparently a member of our team was flagged as a cheater and a chunk of our group received a seven day ban.

The nature of our group operates around the solicitation of randoms who might genuinely want to join. Naturally, we deal with bad actors wanting to take advantage. We use guest codes to limit access and we do not equip or gear out individuals that purchase a room. 95% of residents dont have TC access. They get the room, we place items for them as needed. If the contact system allowed for blue names/dots to be visible from a distance it would be viable for us not to have actually affiliated members of the Hotel to not be in our team. We deal with daily attempts by groups small and large to inside us through solicitation of a room. We put a ton of effort into avoiding situations where people are invited. We pull steam ids, profiles, and have verification validation for our discord group.

We have been unable to get confirmation of who from the ingame team got a chunk of our group banned. We want to remove them from our group **if **they are a core member, and we want to flag their profile and ID if they are a random who purchased a room to avoid a repeat of this in the future.

Many of our core members have paid for either full 30 or week long queue skips. Its really frustrating to not have a clear indication of who disrupted our genuine contribution to the Rustoria experience.

I was brainstorming for the future and thought about implementing steam and disc validation through a homepage to screen for vpn usage and avoid alts being used.
