I would recommend restarting your router, waiting 15 minutes, and then trying to connect again. If that does not work, please create a #network-support-old ticket so we can help you troubleshoot.

I don't quite understand what you're trying to say. As stated, if your friend currently is banned for "playing with a hacker," then he must wait out that ban. If you play with him while he is banned, then you will be playing with a ban evader.

If the ban duration is expired (meaning he is no longer banned) and you play with him - that is fine.
