when you say "when they update" what would trigger this? I think it is possibly due to clipping a small box into large boxes, but no bunker or anything like that. this actually happened to a bag on rustoria last wipe and I thought maybe i just forgot to place a bag

To put it simple, there are some building blocks and deployable that cause other objects next to them to refresh their position. Example of that are bunker loot rooms that when you open them with a triangle roof when the boxes inside the bunker are exposed to the open bunker, they will refresh and if they "fail" their deployment check (conditions) they will refresh and break

just for reference, this was a single square with TC, 3 large boxes and 1 small box... TC is still present, small box is still present, large boxes are completely gone

it's a single square as described, surrounded with 4 half walls, capped with triangle and then 3 full walls and doorframe, nothing too unusual

I understand what you are saying but the thing is that some times there are just non visual updates happening to objects that might be triggered by building something next to them.

most of the times when conditional builds (if you are familiar with that) are in place it is a mess with boxes
