i've just had a ban appeal declined. it states the decision was final, and it is only a temporary ban so i understand i'll just have to be patient and wait for it to expire. but it does feel to me that it was an unfair ban - i was playing solo and was invited to join the teamUI of a team who was living next door so they wouldn't KOS me. is this category of ban something that Rustoria has a hard rule on? it's not uncommon for groups to invite nearby solo players to their teamui, and it'd be a bummer if i had to refuse their offer of safety at risk of one of them potentially using cheats

You are responsible of your choice, if you decide to join a team/... it's up to you, but there is always a risk

but at the same time you need to take this risk sometime if you don't want to remain alone

that's why the playing with hacker ban is 7 days only on the first instance

most players using cheats don't use them in an obvious manner, so the average player isn't likely to be aware that teaming with them carries a risk. subsequently such a hard rule means a player shouldn't team with anyone by default unless they are willing to accept a ban. i imagine this rule is the result of a lot of consideration on your side, so i'm sorry for nitpicking, i guess it just feels a little harsh when i wasn't playing as part of the group itself
