Sometimes it's tough from the player perspective to see how much time and energy these people put in. And it happens that people get all emotional and think that the admins don't care, which couldn't be further from the truth. Things don't happen instantly when you want them - it's good to remember it's just a silly game and life will go on. 1-3 days is the stated timeframe but often things are resolved much faster. They just don't want to overpromise because they have a massive amount of stuff to do endlessly
