Even though the server will be back online in less than an hour, itâs been really frustrating since it went offline. Nobody bothered to update the server status to show that itâs down, which wouldâve taken no more than two minutes to do. This lack of basic communication from the admins/devs feels like poor server management and has caused unnecessary confusion for players. I hope this is improved in the futureâwhat do you all think?
#đ¨ Server Status Neglected? đ¨

that you should probably stop yapping tbh
you know its down dont bother going to hub for another 30 mins
Iâm just pointing out an issue that could make things better for everyone in the future. Itâs not about âyapping,â itâs about basic communication and improving the player experience. If we donât share feedback, nothing changes, right?
Ninja his point is than when S18 ended, the status in hub should said said itâs offline. Because of how many people were confused that they werenât able to get into SB
fair but likeeeeeee
Exactly, thatâs all Iâm saying. A simple status update in the hub wouldâve saved a lot of players the confusion and frustration. Itâs just about improving the overall experience for everyone.
it saying offline/online doesnt change if you cant get on its not hard to know its offline
Dude for new players, they arenât going to know that. And new players join OPB all the time
I get your point, but not everyone immediately knows the server is offline, especially if thereâs no clear status update. A simple âofflineâ message could avoid confusion for newer players or those who donât check Discord/forums constantly. Itâs just about making things smoother for everyone.
its common sense? if u cant join then the server is offline
yes but again if u cant join skyblock butr you can join others if they put 2 and 2 together its offline
If itâs âcommon sense,â then why even have a status system at all? The whole point of a server status is to provide clarity so players donât have to guess. Itâs about making things more straightforward, not leaving people to figure it out themselves.
right but the server is only down for a few days at a time
I donât think youâre quite getting the point of this discussion. Itâs about improving communication for everyoneâs benefit. If you donât agree or donât want to understand, maybe itâs better to just move on. No hard feelings, but letâs keep it constructive.
i mean i agree with you, it does make it easier but its only down for 3 days so imo a tleast the chances of a lot of new people joining in those 3 day span isnt going to be like hundreds. they might of just forgot to do it.
its not really Neglected its just they either forgot or didnt think its NEEDED as the server is down for 3 days, if it was like 5, 6 + then ya that would be more an issue. that was mostly my point
I get that it might not have been a priority since itâs only down for a few days, but that doesnât change the fact that updating the status would have taken no time at all and couldâve saved players the confusion. It's more about setting a standard for clear communication, even if itâs just for a few days. A small effort like that goes a long way.
@quick frost make this a suggestions post, it will likely get more traction there
right i agree, but again they might of just forgot
