Project Name: Benchx
Project Description: A benchmark runner capable of writing custom benchmarks and extending adding performance monitors
Why is help needed: I've worked on the project for >1 year, and 90% of the time has been devoted to design, and nothing else. Having an easy API is the most important. I also defended the work publicly and it has been cited in a thesis. I also have some referrals at Google who would like to use my work but I cannot devote time into making it production ready. The motivation is to use this benchmarking framework to accentuate development on Xilem, a Rust/GUI architecture being planned right now.
How can people contribute: I don't need experts. I really just need someone who is willing to sit down and understand the code for an hour. The library is simple itself. Help needed:

  1. cleanup the project. Lots of leftover research artifacts.
  2. add documentation
  3. willing to learn plotters-rs as I have some ideas in this field.

Apologies,
https://github.com/simbleau/vgpu-bench

It would be called benchx when it goes to release.

It's called vgpu-bench because a large part of this project originally was to benchmark vector graphic performance from the likes of pathfinder, resvg, piet-gpu, lyon+wgpu, etc.
