Is this supported on Hyprland (Wayland)?

#

Or it is just supported on X11

#

Can I contribute? I hope yes

This is meant entirely as constructive critique rather than criticism in the hopes it helps the project grow baby_yoda_hugged
I presume you're using QuickShell for your desktop here, yes?

Your current README.md positions your application as "fast, efficient and minimal and smooth." which is fantastic; however your animations make it quite difficult to see the performance characteristics you've undoubtedly worked quite hard to achieve.
Currently it's difficult to get a good impression of the speed of your application because of this.

I; personally, at least, use my application launcher for simply launching applications (I know there's many that use it for more, such as simple math or file searching etc.) and as such it's only really visible for a couple hundred CPU cycles at most, and then it's gone again.
Because of this I currently use tofi; as its marketed almost entirely on it's performance and speed aspects.

My suggestion would be that in your README.md demonstration video to disable animations during (or have them pre-disabled) for your presentation video.
(Perhaps even showing you disabling them at the start?).

This comes with an understanding that between naming things and cache invalidation, documentation and arguably even harder; marketing; it's difficult to know what and how to highlight the strengths a brand new application has to offer.
It's entirely meant as constructive critique to help you better showcase your application's strengths and get more eyes on it and potential users & contributors.

Thank-you for making this, and I hope this feedback is useful to you and help you grow your project! 🦀
