but like it means that if you have a function
fn fiestchar(x: NonEmpty) -> char
match x.chars().nth(1)
some(c) =>c,
none => unreachable
at compile time you know that the input to this function will be nonempty and you can create your function without validating all the data every call. instead you validate it once
