Enter Key Issue

This feels like it should be a really simple fix, but the internet has no idea what I’m trying to ask it for, so I’ve officially given up trying to google this. My enter key should be making a new line within the current bracket when I click it, and instead it’s just moving down to the next one, like I’m clicking the down arrow key. Can anyone tell me what is going on, because I didn’t change anything that I’m aware of, it just seems like it suddenly decided to stop working.

or the insert key again, thats how you got in that mode
