@acoustic forge has a question:

melody010101

So basically earlier I decided to study 14 hours - 8 hours DSA + 6 hours development which includes learning operating system, computer network, database management system, Backend, devops, AI/ML, system design.

Now after talking with few senior people I decided to change my plan. Now it is :-

14 hours - 2 hours DSA + 12 hours development. Is this decision right?

<@&987246399047479336> please have a look, thanks.

Here is an AI assisted attempt to answer your question ๐Ÿค–. Maybe it helps! In any case, a human is on the way ๐Ÿ‘. To continue talking to the AI, you can use </chatgpt:1108714622413963314>.

That seems like a very ambitious study plan! It's great that you have a clear goal in mind. Just make sure to also schedule in breaks and time for rest to avoid burnout.

both is fine. depends on ur goals. just get started and have fun.
i think u already got detailed feedback from seniors here on this server. especially that this "x hours a day" isn't an effective measure at all

bc it depends on ur goals

This is so confusing

and the amount of hours isnt a good measure

higher focus on dsa will be good if u want to go into academics or if ur trying to get a job at FANG or are in s country where dsa questions are typically in interviews (e.g. india)

#

otherwise u should just do what a typical dsa course at uni teaches (the fundamentals) and call it a day

#

that might take 2-4 weeks or so

#

no need to mix "x hours this, y hours that"

#

also, i feel like im repeating myself. u got this advice before already ๐Ÿ™‚

Likely, you will learn dsa in a week, then actually do only programming anyway.

Just start reading about it, the trick is to find a nice problem you can solve in your life with the algorithm you learn. Then you never forget it.
