#decompile - edit - recompile

<@&987246399047479336> please have a look, thanks.
You'd need a project and all of the dependencies to compile against.
And that's assuming the decompilation produced code that will recompile the same way - if it was obfuscated, it often won't.
On that topic, decompiling is not allowed in some juristictions. And because this server is international, we attempt to stay away from topics that might make the site off-limits for some users.
So we probably can't help you with much detail in this area without more information to be confident it doesn't trip over IP protection laws.
im just making a minecraft mod and im just tryna fix it up
ik how to decompile
but not recompile
If the mod doesn't supply source-code that suggests you don't have license to do so.
it does supply the source code
its open source on modrinth a minecraft mod website
then why don't you edit the source code instead ?
