<@&987246399047479336> please have a look, thanks.
i don't get the desired output
More details
Also, if you're a beginner who doesn't know how to compile and run Java by hand, then we would recommend you not to use VS Code. Use IntelliJ instead
Which ide should I use?
IDE usage is subjective. Some people want all the features that modern IDE's can give you. Some people want a minimal editor.
We suggest that you try a couple out for a couple days and see which one you prefer. The best IDE is the one that works best for you.

i am now completely starting from scratch
i did
It's not that i can't by hand
i can by giving desired commands in the terminal
but the desired way, it's not coming
we cant really help u if u dont share anything concrete
u need to share code, output and so on ๐
dont wait for someone to say "lets go"
this is code and the setup
this is tasks.json
the thing is, when i manually compile and run the code, it does give me the desired output
but the "Run" button at top gives me this in terminal
@glossy sandal@charred pilot
Then... don't use the run button?
yeah, but.....why isn't it working?
bc vsc is bad for java
Idk, that's a VS Code thing. If you want it to just work when you hit the Run button, use IntelliJ as I mentioned earlier
oh
okay
then i'll manually run it
Truthfully speaking: I have never in my life used the VS Code run button, despite having used VS Code for probably not less than 100 hours
every week we have at least one poor guy running into a vsc exclusive issue
every single week
dang
btw how are u bud?
wdym? Do we know each other?
haha, we met in c server, u helped me even there
u still student?
yeah, still Bachelor actually ๐
right now I'm in the phase between 11th and 12th semester ๐
yeah 23-24 yrs old, u were 23 then
ooh nice
I'm still 23
haha gud
thanks again
i guess we might meet again, me asking for help
