uld be able to send messages/files between devices without the need for internet connection.

One option you could consider is Briar, which is an open-source messaging app that allows for offline communication through Bluetooth or Wi-Fi Direct. It uses end-to-end encryption to ensure privacy and security, making it a great option for those concerned about data security.

Another option is Bridgefy, which also allows for offline messaging using Bluetooth or mesh networking technology. It is designed to work in situations where internet connectivity is limited or unavailable, making it ideal for use in crowded events, remote areas, or during emergencies.

Both Briar and Bridgefy offer the ability to send text messages, photos, and files between devices without requiring an internet connection. They prioritize privacy and security, ensuring that your data remains safe even when communicating offline.

Overall, if you are looking for an offline messaging app that allows for peer-to-peer communication and file sharing without the need for internet connectivity, Briar and Bridgefy are two options worth considering.
