I ran this through a calculator and it said it's impossible.

Not sure if the values quoted in this problem are real. The sides of the triangle connecting the boat, tara and Brit come out to be 6.5m, 6.5m and 13.5m. Since for a triangle to be possible the sum of two sides should be greater than the third side, which in here is not getting satisfied, it could be that the numbers quoted in this problem are not correct. I am not 100% sure though....
