the problem is that your file is named Main.java

#

but the public class is called Calculator

#

they should have the same name

#

in this context

the setup and stuff around that can be quite hard to understand at least

but there is good documentation to setup such a project

rough swallow those are build tools

they both give you a configuration file (pom.xml -> maven, build.gradle -> gradle) and you use that to define what your project needs (dependencies, which are kinda like libraries) and to define how to turn your source code into a jar
