you could create a 2 dimensional array which contains the spot (character), and print out that instead.

square is 2d shape and its easy to do with 2d arrays, where are u stuck? did u tried?

cfr line 17-21. In case you're not on the first/last line you are printing # + newline => where are your spaces so you have the right side?
