Right now i work on runescape plugins only doing automation i don't know much else i just want to learn java the best i can. I want to work on something else beginner friendly in java. I am retaking program basics etc i have a lot of it down i think etc. I took the two java courses on intellij and i am going to take them again. I still do need a better understanding and i still kind of suck lol. I am learning my first api and learning runelites api etc. So basically i am using something that uses 2 apis. Runelite being the one and the second is for allowing the automation etc.
#What should i work on starting Java?

While you are waiting for getting help, here are some tips to improve your experience:
If nobody is calling back, that usually means that your question was not well asked and hence nobody feels confident enough answering. Try to use your time to elaborate, provide details, context, more code, examples and maybe some screenshots. With enough info, someone knows the answer for sure.
Don't forget to close your thread using the command </help-thread close:1027500463647621170> when your question has been answered, thanks.

If you want to expand your Java skills beyond automation for Runescape plugins, here are a few suggestions for projects you can work on:
-
Build a simple calculator: Create a program that takes user input and performs basic mathematical operations like addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
-
Develop a weather application: Use an API to fetch real-time weather data and display it in a user-friendly format. You can add features like location-based weather forecasts and graphical representations.
-
Create a contact management system: Build an application that allows users to store and manage their contacts. Implement features like adding new contacts, searching for contacts, and organizing them into groups.
-
Design a chat application: Develop a simple chat program where users can send messages to each other in real-time. You can explore networking concepts like sockets or use existing libraries/frameworks for this project.
-
Build a file manager: Create an application that allows users to navigate through directories, view files, copy/move/delete files, and perform basic file operations.
-
Develop a quiz game: Design an interactive quiz game where users can answer questions from various categories. Implement scoring systems, timers, and leaderboards to make it more engaging.
Remember to break down these projects into smaller tasks and tackle them one by one. This approach will help you learn different aspects of Java programming while working on practical applications. Additionally, don't hesitate to refer to online resources such as tutorials, documentation, and forums when you encounter challenges along the way.
