I honestly don't know what the problem is, usually eclipse would highlight the issues I have with my code and or say something in the console when I make a mistake. But it wont even let me test the code out and I have no idea what to do anymore.

While you are waiting for getting help, here are some tips to improve your experience:

Code is much easier to read if posted with syntax highlighting and proper formatting.

If nobody is calling back, that usually means that your question was not well asked and hence nobody feels confident enough answering. Try to use your time to elaborate, provide details, context, more code, examples and maybe some screenshots. With enough info, someone knows the answer for sure.

Don't forget to close your thread using the command </help-thread close:1027500463647621170> when your question has been answered, thanks.

can you show us the whole error

tiny olive
#

this is all that shows up when i hit run

arctic coral
#

ok thats an eclipse issue

#

tiny olive
#

no I shouldnt have any

arctic coral
#

how do you run then?

tiny olive
#

i click run

#

and the program usually does its thing

arctic coral
#

yeah with a run configuration right?

tiny olive
#

ok

arctic coral
#

send a screenshot of the whole application

tiny olive
#

im not the brightest

arctic coral
#

im not really familiar with eclipse, used it long time ago

tiny olive
#

i click the green play button and boom

arctic coral
#

next to the run button there is a button to open up some kind of menu

#

click that and show what it opens

tiny olive
arctic coral
#

you should not click run

tiny olive
#

oh whoops

arctic coral
#

click the down arrow on the right side next to it

tiny olive
arctic coral
#

can you somehow open up settings for that configuration?

#

I dont know how to in eclipse

tiny olive
#

this?

arctic coral
#

yeah

#

you see the main class is different

tiny olive
#

so just change the main class to bleee?

arctic coral
#

yeah

#

or instead make a new configuration

#

or right click on your main method and click on run as > java application

#

if thats possible in eclipse

tiny olive
#

so i changed it to bleee and it still does the main type error

arctic coral
#

hm just looked it up and some say this

tiny olive
#

i did that twice

#

as well as completely retyping all of it

arctic coral
tiny olive
#

nope

#

I want to try something

arctic coral
#

can you show your project file explorer

tiny olive
#

i saw something saying that they had this problem but when they opened it up on a different computer it worked

arctic coral
#

bruh what

#

seems like a major problem

tiny olive
#

idk maybe itll work :3

#

ok but to you does my code visually have anything wrong with it?

arctic coral
tiny olive
#

would it juat be better to send the file itself??

arctic coral
#

you can aswell, the bots auto upload feature will take care of it

#

make it easily accesible for others via github gists

tiny olive
#

ill just do both

arctic coral
#

just do one pls

#

just upload

tiny olive
#

here it is :)

arctic coral
#

and you now deleted the gist

tiny olive
#

wha

#

oh

#

kinda misleading saying dismiss instead of delete

#

is it alright if i post it again?

arctic coral
#

yeah
