I honestly don't know what the problem is, usually eclipse would highlight the issues I have with my code and or say something in the console when I make a mistake. But it wont even let me test the code out and I have no idea what to do anymore.

While you are waiting for getting help, here are some tips to improve your experience:

Code is much easier to read if posted with syntax highlighting and proper formatting.

If nobody is calling back, that usually means that your question was not well asked and hence nobody feels confident enough answering. Try to use your time to elaborate, provide details, context, more code, examples and maybe some screenshots. With enough info, someone knows the answer for sure.

arctic coral or right click on your main method and click on run as > java application

maybe do this but instead right click the file in the file explorer and then run as > java application
