While you are waiting for getting help, here are some tips to improve your experience:
If nobody is calling back, that usually means that your question was not well asked and hence nobody feels confident enough answering. Try to use your time to elaborate, provide details, context, more code, examples and maybe some screenshots. With enough info, someone knows the answer for sure.

You can download the .jar file from the Releases section at the right side of the github page
If you've installed java correctly and the correct version, you should be able to double click the .jar file and run it
However, the latest release of this was 6 years ago, so you might have to install an older version of Java
