<@&987246964494204979> please have a look, thanks.
While you are waiting for getting help, here are some tips to improve your experience:
If nobody is calling back, that usually means that your question was not well asked and hence nobody feels confident enough answering. Try to use your time to elaborate, provide details, context, more code, examples and maybe some screenshots. With enough info, someone knows the answer for sure.
Don't forget to close your thread using the command </help-thread close:1027500463647621170> when your question has been answered, thanks.
I think its not worth it, either go into "real" game dev using unity/unreal/... or use a different engine for game dev
It's not like I can convince my university teacher to change that lol
But its not too bad
Minecraft was developed in java after all
so you are doing game dev in university using javafx?
but not with javafx
It's not game development, but as our final project he will ask us to code a game
He said either to use java fx or swing
swing
swing is also outdated
That's why Im using fx
yeah but there is prob no book for javafx game dev
No idea
try looking for online tutorial rather than a book
I mean 5 days for a game, say a card game
yeah also possible with just canvas etc
Idk man, canvas just complicate things
yeah ofc
Thks
