Hi, I'm a complete beginner. There are these 4 questions that I have to answer based on these 2 classes. I'm not sure how to go about attempting these.

Code is much easier to read if posted with syntax highlighting and proper formatting.

Look into Socket for java, you'll find some code examples

A simple example to connect to a server would be Socket socket = new Socket(address, host);

And you'll have access to everything you need to write to the server and read the response
