Yes, this is expected. Deleting the islands is now done on a region file basis. If there are still islands in the region that are being used then the island will just remain marked as deleted. If you teleport there and run island info it will tell you it is deleted. No one should be able to use that spot until it is actually cleared.
This is true for island resets too. The region files are checked every 24 hours by default. You can see the housekeeping setting in the BentoBox config.yml.
i went to the island any typed /island info and it said
Use the admin island info command. /bsb info if you use BSkyBlock
The error you got is correct for a normal player.
i did it when i made the island, and then i deleted the island and i did it again and it said that i am not on a island, the island is still here not deleted nothing
Oh
If you restart the server, do they disappear?
Also, when you go to that place, just run /bsb info - no name
There are two possibilities:
- You are running
/bsb infowith a name - this gives info on the player, not the spot you are in. - The server has deleted the island but it is still cached.
no they don’t
Let me have a go.
Let me confirm the steps:
- Make an island
- Delete it - how do you delete it?
Did you do it in-game or from the console?
Okay, I see the issue.
I think this is specific to the admin delete command.
I'm investingating it now.
i make it then delete it with admin cmd, ingame
alr
Okay, that took longer than I expected. Quick answer is that, yes, this is a bug -- the admin delete command doesn't delete the blocks or mark the blocks for deletion. It just deleted the island from the database. So, I'll fix it in the next BentoBox release. For you, you'll need to use world edit or something to delete the blocks, sorry, but thanks for the bug report.
alr, lucky i have only made my testing island and no one has yet made any others, so nothing would really be lost
so you know the same is happening for oneblock, when a player deletes it the blocks are still there, i did the normal delete cmd last time i tried (which was a while ago)
