Hi, some of old players lost their islands, I dont know why, but their island doesnt have any owner. When I use /bsbadmin register or /bsbadmin setowner the ownership is transfered, but the player cannot do anything on the island, cannot break blocks, open chests etc.

There is error message in the chat, that the world is protected.

Could you please help with that? It happened while switching to new Bentobox version and MC 1.21.8 from 1.21.4.

Can you show output of /[admin_cmd] why <player> when player cannot interact with blocks?

Somehow that island was deleted. Did you run island purge?

There was report earlier today, and person checked that no purge, delete or reset was triggered

I know what is going on.

I think there are islands in the same location in the database that were deleted at some point but we’re not actually deleted from the database. These are stomping on more recent islands.

I made a change to still load “deleted” islands but if there is junk in the database then this will load those junk ones too.

I’ll work on a fix.
