Is the only way to raise the horde level when you die?

For some reason it won't raise by completing the horde I have to raise it manually when dying, kinda annoying

Ah thanks I did some testing myself because I was confused. It seems like when you set the horde level on the death UI it doesn't rise when completing said level so eg - Set horde level to 1 doesn't rise to 2 set horde level to my max completed 5 doesn't rise to six but when I die I can raise it to six. Hope that makes sense 😅
